Hotel Rwanda - The movie is based on the true events that took place during the genocidal violence that erupted in Rwanda between the Hutu and Tutsi ethnic groups in 1994.

#12: Enemy of the State (Will Smith, Gene Hackman)

But to be honest, the one that would nail all of them - one movie - is 1984. This movie was made years ago, but the movie is based on George Orwell's book of the same name. It is about a government that watches everything people does, and basically runs its citizen's lives. It is where the term "Big Brother" comes from.

#15, #13, and arguably others: "The Road to Guantanamo" (not given rights as British citizens, confined, also tortured and denied due process, but you don't mention these)

#16: "If These Walls Could Talk 2," "Not Without My Daughter" (both rather sappy, but do deal directly with this human right)

#12 and #18: "Good Night and Good Luck" (great film about the McCarthy era)

GATTACA.
the genetically altered humans dictate what the naturals (naturally born) can and cant do. very good movie that gives you food for thought. low budget, but powerful message. the limitations on the naturally born are huge, and they are seen as the less than humans.

if you havent seen it, please do.

or V FOR VENDETTA. another big brother type film, that restricts free thinking and pleasure of the arts, sciences, religions... good movie.
