BCS chamiponship bowl is one of the four major bowls where the national title is played for. The bowl rotates every year. This year, the Fiesta Bowl happens to be the BCS championship bowl. The Rose Bowl is another bowl in the BCS, but its not the national title game. It will be in a couple years when it rotates in.

the BCS Championship bowl is the new bowl added to the BCS. so there are five bcs bowls..the bcs title, rose, sugar, orange, and fiesta. but out of all five, the rose bowl is considered the "granddaddy of them all" because of it's pagentry and tradition.
