She was singing back up on one of Nicks Videos and was a total unknown when they met.
He married her for love. She threw that away when her career started to take off ..Her dad, who is also her manager (the minister??, who also made comments on his daughter's "Double D's), thought she would be more famous if she left Nick behind..
The last laugh is on her.. Because Nick loved her but now he is moving on and his last album left hers in the dust.. Plus, he found someone he loves again.
She needs to learn that when it comes to Daddy manager, or her husband.. The husband should be more important.

According to Nick's special on TV, Jessica mixed business with pleasure. Their marriage turned into a business. Nick stated that he just wanted to be a family man...he didn't care for all the media and stuff.

i think it was a mixture of things - her career was taking off an his wasn't really a bit of jealousy between the 2 - she seemed to get quite big headed about stuff as well. i dont t hink her family helped as they where always gegging in and always there as its her managment.
nick is very down to earth where as she is very high maintanace

They were tooo young in the first place...i mean they were both thriving musicans and i also dont think Jessica was very mature throughout the relationship.

Watching them on Newlyweds, they just never seemed like they were in love to me. In any case, having a camera crew follow you around when you've just got married, is asking for trouble. Especially in the fickle world of celebrity marriages.
