I would need to know what happened before this problem to discern the severity of the problem. Possible virus. Reinstall / repair windows. I doubt you have a backup recovery disk, but if you do, do that instead. Although you will be lucky if you don't loose information. As soon your up and running do a virus scan. I you dont have one GET ONE.

Sounds such as you ought to layout and reinstall home windows considering its doing the Automatic Restarting. And don't delete some thing thats needed to do with With the O/s until you're very certain on what your doing... And additionally I might blank the Computer with compressed can of air to take away clumps of filth within and reseat the whole lot and spot if that is helping

Start your PC,then as soon as the message Starting Windows appears press key F8 -the select Safe Mode.Click Start > Run then enter msconfig and test the start options with "diagnostic startup" -alternatively you could select "Step-by-Step Confirmation" either of theses two methods should find the faulty setting or driver when your pc boots up.
Good luck!

Sounds like you may have a virus that is causing the system to jump to the reset vector.

If you have another computer (or take to friends house) take that hard drive out and connect it as a slave to the other computer and run virus protection software on that drive.

More than likely the power supply is going... I had this problem about 2 months ago and found that it was the power supply. Go to your local computer whiz and have them check it out and replace it if necessary. Hope this helps.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.

i encountered that problem before, but it happened to me whenever i change my pc's settings, like adding extra settings and designs, like large files for my pc themes,

i solve it by making my settings much lighter for the memory to handle,,, well atleast i solved it though.

It seems that your power supply has a problem . you can check with another power supply and if the problem not solved you should check your mainboard and its wires .
