I don't why but we can't communicate with them or anything. They are like away from the rest of the world. Even Iran has life in their country and they communicate with people around the world. I am sure a lot of you might have read "To Kill A Mockingbird", you know the Boo Radley character, he never comes out of the house and the N. Koreans are the same. Why are they like that?

Because they believe that Kim Jong was born some spiritual birth and that his father was this supreme being leader. They are brainwashed with only "happy" music and if they had a clue about how their country and their so called "godly" leader is they would freak. Did you know he directs and critiques all the movies that they watch that are made there? Or how about the fact they think the movies that are American are actually from other countries! Very sad state of affairs when a whole country can lay down and just believe everything one person says. Makes me want to watch a revolution movie or something!

This has less to do with the general North Korean population as it does with the “man in charge.” Oddly enough, an example of what problems plague the political arena are present in the movie Behind Enemy Lines II. As for Iran (and Iraq and other Middle Eastern nations considered a part of the “league”) reaching out, it has more to do with their not wanting immediate and rash conflict. Look to the Iraq “war” for examples. Just people a people have not exhibited open interest does not mean there are those who support a separation for such strict “communistic” ideas.

Communism is a dying society and soon enough, they will likely no longer exist.

Because Kim Jong Il wants to stay outside of the international circle. I'm sure that North Korean citizens do want to have some contact with the outside world but they don't have any authority of their own country.

Plus, there have been threats that they might have nuclear weapons, but we really don't want to have a nuclear war with them. There's a risk(s) to it if we did have that.

They have a dictator who has brainwashed them into thinking their way of life is the only way to live. They have no communications with the outside world. So they don't know any different.
