i need to do an essay and draw something for tomorrow....help!!!

The Greeks and Romans ...especially the Romans....buried their dead in 'crypts'.....the most famous of these being in Rome. There were chapels/churches below ground where the burial ceremonies were held ... then the bodies were placed in niches in the walls of the crypts or tunnels. If you type in 'crypt' in a search engine you will find them. I have been in the crypts of Rome...they go for MILES....and are very cold, damp and dark places.

Actually, they burned their dead in funeral pyres. Look at some of their death myths -- placing coins over the eyes of the dead for Charon the Boatman, etc.
