It depends on the type of coding you are interested in.... If you are going to use your own server, or a server that has SQL databases you may find PHP-Nuke a nice way to go.
HTML is still the standard for most personal pages, but PHP is becoming more widely used because of its security, and ability to plug in extra options like Chatrooms, Forums, Shopping carts, MP3 players, Videos, And any number of other niceties found on your High End sites.

Site is done in PHP, with the flash plugins, as well as many of the modules for comunity use.

Ummm... it sounds as if u dunt knoe anything about making websites. If u dunt, then I suggest u go to www.freewebs.com. It sets it all up for u and stuff, so u dunt need to knoe any html. If ure experienced with computers, then i think DreamWeaverX or something like dreamweaver will be useful to u. I was obsessed over making websites and stuff, but I got tired of it soon lol

Write pages using html in a notepad, then find somebody to host your website, then upload the pages.

You will need to write the html script for it or you can use front page (microsoft program) that will write it for you. Then you will need to regestir a domain name and upload your pages.
