It wasn't a dream. Morty allowed him to go back to where he was before he started using the remote.

Ever read A Christmas Carol? (or see multiple movie versions of it) Ever see It's a Wonderful Life? And there was another one a couple of years ago with Nicholas Cage and Tea Leoni. Same gimmick. Basically variations on the same idea of the angel showing you what your life could have been like so you will change and appreciate what you have or could have.

Christipher walken let him go back to before he started using the remote, and allowed him to make the choice to use it or not. As a couple of people said already. It wasn't a dream. just a REAL second chance.

It's called a cop-out. They couldn't think of an ending so they did the old "it was just a dream" thing. Very disappointed.

the way I take it, Kristie lived yet Jimmy did not, even with the very undeniable truth that for a 2d, it regarded like Jimmy's eyes were shifting. Oh, and the christian boy reaches right down to leave a pamphlet, no longer to tuoch Kristie. i imagine that the makers purposely enable Kristie stay to furnish a segway right into a 2d movie, the position Kristie describes what befell and the killers stalk more desirable sufferers.
