I am an old fart, so I don't particularly like games that take a lot of reflex action and quick button pushing. For Game Boy Advance I liked the various Pokemon Games, Golden Sun and I kinda like Advance Wars. Any suggestions for the DS system?

Hey, I am not to old to be playing DS. Should have stated already have Brain Age. I played it a lot for a while, but there are only some many times I can add 7 + 8 and count little cartoon men walking in and out of a house before I'm bored blind.

harvest moon DS (harvest moon friends of mineral town for gba was also great) - it's a farming simulation - if you've never played it, it's actually quite a good game
final fantasy III for DS wasn't as great as IV, V or the upcoming VI on GBA, but it's still pretty good
trauma center is a game where you play as a surgeon... but as you get farther in the game, it really does require amazing speed and precision. i could not do it, and got frustrated. pretty bad for a 25 year old, but still...
mario: partners in time is a mario based RPG - great game. ATB battle system, and lots of puzzles to figure out
dragon quest heros: rocket slime - i haven't played it yet, but i hear nothing but great things about it
children of mana is an installment in the seiken densetsu series, excellent RPG

Some really good games are:
Tetris DS, the greatest game EVER
Meteos, up there with Tetris, a puzzle block game
Trauma Center-Under The Knife, you can do surgery
Clubhouse Games, it has Checkers, HoldEm, Solitaire, etc.
and if you can find it, WarioWare:Touched, tons on silly minigames.....

Hmmm, well if you ever see a FinalFantisy game, get that, its very similar to golden sun, and get mariokart, and wario ware touched, all three my fav games for DS

in case you like RPGs, i might propose Chrono set off. it incredibly is a good interest that has a good tale line and likewise good interest play. additionally you cant pass incorrect with very final fable 3 or 4. additionally Mario Kart is powerful!!
