I have medium dark brown eyes and really dark hair(black). Usually i go for a gold/bronze eyeshadow and black eyeliner but my outfit for a dance is silver toned. What color eyeshadow can I wear?

U always want to go the complete oposite color of your eyes... if they are dark brown I suggjest a pinkish-purplish color.... just play with the make-up u have (mix colors, too)....

Check YouTube under "makeup tutorials". There are some that show you how to make your eyes pop. I have green eyes and brown hair (naturally, but I dyed it a bit darker) and maybe you can try some things that worked for me. To make your eyes look bigger, don't use heavy eyeliner, especially black! It will close your eyes in and make them look smaller. Try lining your upper lids from about where the iris (the green part) begins--usually the halfway point--out to the corners. Use an angled brush to sweep a bit of your darkest eyeshadow color that you're using under the lower lashes, from the outside corners working inward to about the halfway point. Then use a white liner pencil or pale eyeshadow with an angled brush to define the inner corners of your lower lids. Finish with mascara on the upper lashes and the outside half of the lower lashes. Leaving the inner half of the lower lashes bare can help make your eyes look more open and bigger. Well, I hope this helps. It works for me!

For silver toned dress go with a blue-pink-or light purple shades
The day before the dance spend an afternoon experimenting with hiarstyles and make-up. That way you can try diffrent things out and see what looks best.

A navy eyeliner and a modern blue shadow, just to the crease, with sparkly white on the browbone and inner corner (tearduct). Trust me-I have brown eyes and dark hair, too. The blue makes your eyes sparkle. Just don't go eighties blue (shudders).

try a sparkly white or light breezy color such as light blue, the sparkle always add that elegant look and catches your eyes. don't go all black or dark dark brown eyeshadow, it looks like your eyes are too small and your making them even more smaller, also it throws away your eye drawing attention to your shadow!

For silver toned colors (cool) you should go with an icy baby blue eye liner combined with white frost eye shadow base. Line all of that with navy at the lash line and you will look positively sparkling!

Gold makes brown eyes look amazing.
If you want a funky look, go for a green liner and gold eyeshadow. Knockout!!!

depends on whether u want ur eyes to stand out or whatever... if u want 2 bring out the colour of your brown eyes id say to go with brown eyeliner an mascara
