of course, NOT. its not bad or anything, but I think yo should not. Girls love guys being their selves and wearing wild clothes. Well not actually wild. Just a nice shirt and pants are good. I recomend Abercrombie, Hollister, A.E.O. They're hot clothings!

it depends on the girl. I personally love it when guys wear ties, because I see them in casual clothes all the time, anyway. Plus, if you wear a tie, she will get the impression that you think she's important enough to get dressed up for, and that's always a good thing.
If you're going in "blind," I would wear a tie if I were you, just to be safe. Also, if it's someone you've known for a while, but aren't really friends with, it would be smart to wear one. And also if it's a friend that you're going to start dating, it would show her that you're serious about the relationship, and are willing to take the first step toward nurturing your friendship into a full-fledged romantic relationship.
Oh, and, just a thought, as emo as it sounds, a red tie against a black dress shirt is to die for.

It depends on where you are going if you are going some place that's fancy like the ballet and to a gourmet restaurant, I would. If you're going to a baseball game and for ice cream, then no.
Call the place where your going and see if they have a dress code.
Not unless you've got the whole look either. I think it looks stupid to ware a tie with a T-shirt.
Also you don't want to look better then she dose.
Last but not least a girl likes a clean guy, so don't show up on her door step after your work out, go home and shower first.

Think about where you are going, and if it is appropriate to wear one there.
Also think about if it scores points with the woman you are going to be with.
Either way, I would pair it with a blazer. It is winter time, and guys look goofy in dress pants and dress shirt by themselves. Now is a good time to buy one (wool or cashmiere) if you do not have one.
And splurge and buy a new tie....don't get anything cheap either!
Dont forget to pick up a fresh pair of dress socks, underwear, and undershirt. If you end up knockin' the boots, dont want to be caught with ratty lookin underwear!

My opinion on the matter is that you have to gage your situation. If if is a play with a nice dinner I would wear a tie. Anything considerd casual to simi-casual no tie. It is also based on the image you want to give off. I find it attractive when a guy finds me special enough to dress up for our date.

No, it usually looks a little too uptight and formal. Skip it unless you're going somewhere really fancy.
