You wear what you like to wear.
I don't see anything wrong with wearing tighty whities.
There are a lot of styles that are considered "cool" and trendy but I, frankly, find them quite dumb looking IMO (examples: hip hop attire, baseball caps, capris, team jerseys when NOT in a sporting event, etc.)
Your ex needs to get a life and you're better off without her.
If it would have been the case where a guy dumped a girl for refusing to wear thongs, there would have been like 40+ anger filled responses from girls.

Well, tighty whities are for old men and little boys. I think tighty whities are a little constricting if you know what I mean. It's time to be a man and buy some boxers or at least boxer briefs. Try the boxer briefs then work your way to the boxers.

I think a lot of girls prefer boxers over tighty whities, but I'm not sure why. If your girlfriend dumped you over something like that though, you're probably better off.

if your girlfriend dumped you for that, then thats probably one of the stupidest reasons ever! but to answer the question, it's just plain weird, most girls are just used to guys wearing boxers and making them seem a bit older.

Try getting boxers from the Gap. If you think they are too expensive, get them on sale (Gap ALWAYS has some on clearence)
if its still too expensive, get em at Old Navy. They have some cute ones the girls will like.
Or just go without and whip out your shlong and slap her silly with it.

eww...no offense but boxers make a guy look sexier even if you don't have a perfect body...i don't think it was right for your gf to dump you cuz of that but maybe you should buy some boxers and try them out.

my guy wears them and while i find them boring and all that, all that really matters is what my guy has underneath the white cotton!
