One year my husband bought me a vegetable peeler. DO NOT get her a vegetable peeler!
Seriously, waking up Christmas morning to a beautiful bouquet of flowers (something snowy white) and a pretty piece of jewelry would be wonderful.

find pictures from special events your wedding, her last birthday and perhaps even the children and the special family moments. Make a scented creative scrap book of all of your good memories. After the kids go to sleep, be inventive. Turn part of your house into a spa related atmosphere with candles scented oils body creams, and perhaps chocolate and a champagne bath and make her feel like a queen!

get her jewelery. like a necklace with a heart on it? if you can find it i mean...
then, if she already got her ears pierced, get her a set of earrings and a ring? is it her birthday or something? that would be something real special. if you want to, you could also give her a card written is cursive by you or something. oh! i got an perfect idea. don't really ask her, but secretly just ask her day by day, so she wouldn't notice why you are asking her questions all about what she wants and stuff.

Do you have children? If so how about a Mothers ring or necklace, it's a necklace with birthstones in it, or you could get her birthstone and yours to make it personal and special.
