I have purchased a new intex microphone, but the sound is too low. I have uninstalled my sound-driver and reinstalled it but still the problem persists. Even I tried with other microphone but the problem is still there. Pls anyone help me.
Note: I am using Intel(r) AC'97 Audio Controller dirver and my OS is Windows XP SP2

Try adjusting the volume settings in your mic.

Go to Start->Control Panel->Sounds and Audio Devices-> Click on Voice Tab->Voice Recording ->Then adjust volume.

hello.
see on the taskbar , near the clock must be a tray icon like speaker.double click on it , after a second a new page open that there are many volume .
if there is a microphone volume increase that
if there is not a microphone volume click on the options menu then click on properties in the bottom "Show the following volume controls" check the microphone and then click on okay.
after that increase the microphone volume .

double click on the speaker icon in the bottom right of the screen. select options and then properties. choose recording and turn up the mic volume. that should do it.

if the speaker icon does not work the pc might have a physical volume control

look for that

I think u have too replace your microphones. Or the better option is to use amplifer between pc and microphones.
