That's better than being on drugs and in trouble.

You can't them to shut up, but maybe you can get them to respect your personality and your tastes.

To prove you're not a poser--and I'm not sure what that means but I'm guessing it means "faker" or "lazybones"--do well in school, and do your chores at home. You don't have to be an A student, but concentrate on your studies, respect your teachers and fellow classmates, and do the best you can, and learn all you can. Try to excel in at least one or two subjects.

Help out at home. Cook some meals, wash the dishes, pick up after yourself, take out the garbage, babysit your younger siblings, do your own laundry or take turns doing the laundry.

You might consider a part-time job, even if it's only occasional babysitting, snow-shoveling, or lawn-mowing.

If you do well (or do your best) at school and help out at home, they may be more likely to respect your hobbies and your interests.

See if there's a class or club at school or at an afterschool center where you can learn about guitar playing and skateboarding. Don't demand the most expensive equipment. See if you can buy a secondhand guitar somewhere. Buy or borrow skateboarding equipment which is inexpensive yet safe.

Good luck to you, and God bless you!

As long as you're eating, sleeping and living under your parents' roof I would try my best to get along with them. The more you rebel the worse it will get. Try earning their confidence in you by being more grown up about things. Do chores without being told. Be a big help around the house. The more grown up acting you are the more confidence they'll have in your ability to do the things you want.

uhh, why do you care so much about what your mom and stepdad think? I'll repeat what someone else said, you are coming across as a little girl and very immaturely. Just do what you want to do and be who you want to be...who cares what anyone else says?

As a suggestion, think about expressing yourself better. You come across as a little girl.
