Rocks used to be used to build the great pyramid of Egypt had to be moved great verticle distances. suggest how torque may have been used to accomplish the feat.

the ancient Egyptians used pulleys to carry up the large rocks which are a type of first class lever in that they had a fulcrum un the center and resistance force on one end against an Effort force at the other end
