I moved away from a good friend of mine like two years ago (we're not so far away, just maybe a half-hour or 50 minute drive now.) We keep in touch via IM all the time, and if we have time we'll hang out over the weekend.

Since I left though, he got a girlfriend. He incorporates her into pretty much everything and tells me about it, and now I think we've been spending less time together because of it. Is this normal?

Yeah, it's normal. As long as she is good to him, you should be happy for him and receptive to her. There is nothing more annoying, as a woman, than dating a guy with some downer, jealous buddy taking cheap shots and glaring at you. I dated this guy like 8 years ago who had this jealous guy friend. It was insanely annoying. Listen, if you need to hang out with him alone, tell him that you think she's awesome but could you go out alone just so that you don't feel like a third wheel-- just every now and then. When you get older, your life is your spouse and your family. Friends follow once your spouse and family are taken care of. Be cool with him about it. If he's happy, be happy for him. Maybe, he's afraid that you are going to call his girlfriend a 'ho? Just maybe?
