I don't know! I guess some people just don't like other people who are different than they are. Those people also think they are somehow better or smarter than the others.
It's all rather ridiculous really. In this day and age, in America we should not be dealing with these issues to the extent that we are. We all have a common enemy in the terrorists who want all Americans dead.
I hope that someday, all of us can come together and realize that we are all Americans.

Note that racism is very prevalent in all cultures and usually is the poor that will take the major load of racial discrimination , meaning if the majority of one group is the well to do either in strength or wealth , it will have seniority or power over the poorer ones , creating an ambient of hate of the lower class in effect establishing racism . Look at the Hindu society they all have the same skin color , but yet upon their midst they have created a levels or casts of people , the famous UNTACHABLES , they some how are recognised and forbiden of many liberties that same colour people have . So a lot of the racism of the Americas persists from their past misfortunes of being enslaved and bought by wealthy whites , it comes down to position in the human hierarchy , if the Africans were the ones that had the power and wealth and had enslaved and bought the white ones , the racism would have been against the whites !!
It seams that the ones that are in a loftier position do not like to mingle with the lower ones who ever they are and there comes the beginning of racism

Because humans, by nature, fear the unknown and the unfamiliar. If someone looks different than the norm, they recoil and decide that they are a threat. Besides, if you can dehumanize certain individuals, then you have nothing to feel sorry for no matter what you do to them...it gives yo a power high to abuse them and you convince yourself their is nothing to feel guilty about. It is one of the most idiotic things on Earth, but it is there.

Racism exist all because of different cultures and everything... to me.. I don't think it's the COLOR... if you ask me... to my beliefe it all starts with where you come from and who you are and who you represent... but honestly... thats a good question...
