They make a man look sophisticated and professional. But it's a turn off if the man looks like he's choking or he wears a very ugly tie.

(I actually liked it when my prom date wore black jeans, a black blazer and a white shirt, without a tie. HAHA, I remember his shirt was unbuttoned like one and it was hot. But seriously...we like ties?)
