I would say no, not really. Compared to 50 years ago when people were outwardly racists, today they merely hide it under the facade of civility.

I believe its getting better. At the grade schools ele. I see alot of mix children on the play grounds and there playing with each other. share all kids have there group of friends . As of 50 yrs ago you no you would of never seen that. Of course there are some who hate other races, only because at home or neighbor hood they live in. I say talk to a older person who been there 50yrs ago.Tension is still there but it seems like it's a little free'er.

Definitely better, each year there are more interracial relationships and kids. I think we just publicize more incidents via the internet, cable tv, etc. It's more social status now than race. If you go to a rich area and look poor, you are judged no matter what color. If you look like you have anything and go to a low income area, you are judged. I don't care if it's a black neighborhood or a trailer park with only white people. I am german/mexican so I see (and hear) both sides.

Not as much now but people are still racists because won't openly show it like people did 50 years back.

It has reversed. Back then the whites physically opressed the blacks. Now the blacks go around yelling descrimination and expecting a handout from everyone. Now the whites feel opressed.
