Well, I think first of all you should never let your baby's father pressure you into anything especially not something as lasting as a child's name. Secondly, either of those two girls names are very pretty but the way the first one is spelled it doesn't seem to be pronounced tanisha it sounds just like it looks tynisha so while I am sure you just trying to make it original keep in mind it will be mispronounced all of her life. If you want it to sound like tanisha you should spell it that way. Taliah is beautiful also and that one is spelled like it sounds so I would go with that one.

They are both cute names, Tynisha is more common than Taliah. So personally I would go with Taliah. If you want to change the spelling that would be great also. Talia, Talea, Telia, Teliyah, Taliyah, Taleah, etc. Play around with it you still have time. Good Luck!!!

No offense intended, but are you black, are your children black? These sound like typically black names and if your children are white, they may get made fun of. They are both unique, beautiful names, but as I said I don't think that either of them are appropriate for a white child. Do you know the sex of the baby? Can you use a family member's name? What about someone that you really look up to or admire. Some people take the mom and dad's names and combine them to form a whole new, unique name. Or use a name that was popular 100+ years ago to restart that name in this generation.

Personally, I love the name Tanisha, but Taliah sounds good too.
It reminds me of the Mexican singer/actress Talia. :)

Taliah is nice--reminds me of Talia Shire the actress who played Rocky's wife and was also in The Godfather trilogy. but why do you need the "h" on the end...it will constantly be mis-spelled.
