My last name is bates and i picked the name shannon for a first name but i am not sure about a middle name! my husband likes Karlie and i like Victoria but we cant agree so maybe another name needs to be brought in here! any good suggestions and not ordianry middle names like sue, mae, ann, rose or any thing in that fashion! thanks

Karli is a nickname for Katarina which is a bit more classic like Victoria so maybe Shannon Katarina Bates? I think a long middle name works well with the short last name. I really like the sound of Shannon Victoria too though. Shannon Annalisia Bates sounds nice too.

Shannon Victoria is really pretty!! However if you guys can't agree on that then you need some new ideas.
Marie is always a popular middle name and goes well with pretty much any first name. (but you said you didnt' want any really ordinary names so how about...
Elizabeth sounds good with Shannon, but it reminds me of that actress!!
