The file C:\Documents and Settings\name\My Documents\My Videos\4-11-06 3.wmv cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again.

Go here http://www.k-litecodecpack.com/ and download the basic version and you're good too go. For some strange reason your pc is missing the codec to play wmv files. You can also get this codec by install Window media Player.

Hello. If you have Windows, WMP is already installed. Go to Windows Update and the codecs etc and critical updates will be automatically installed for you. Very easy =)
