I think that Bush the war in Iraq should continue, because he would have no reason for all of the troops dieing in Iraq. They would have died in vain.

In about 1000 AD the rift between the political parties began and the leaders native to Iraq have been ruthless dictators. in the last fifty years the leaders have associated themselves with the likes of Hitler, for instance. Russia sold weapons to Iraq. US has given arms as well to defend Iran conflict. If what you want happens we have to be very ruthless as occupiers and I do not think the American public can stomach nation building. Are you willing to sacrifice the loss of your family member for what I think is a hopeless cause.

sweetheart they have already died in vain....we should have kept after OBL in Afghanistan and kept the Taliban out of power...given the poor a legal cash crop to replace the Opium poppy.......you may be too young but the rationale for staying in Iraq is the same that we used to "win" in Vietnam...oh by the way read your history we lost over 58,000 KIA or MIA...some 300,000 wounded and hundreds of billions spent and abandoned the South Vietnamese people... and we fought that war just as ineptly as this one is being fought... I was against this war from well before we invaded....time has shown me to be correct...

I think that it was a bad idea in the first place, but it would be a bad idea to pull out now. If we withdrawel now the country will most likely descend into complete chaos and civil war. Similar to what happened after the Soviet army and our intelligence agents pulled out of Afganistan. Who took over there?
