monitor the goings on on this site??

They are intel people. they watch everything that goes on. Collect info, make sure that nobody is a threat to their country,but i think they will do more on global militia with a war going on. They probably will monitor this site when the threat lever is low and they need to keep it that way. it's a 1 in 20 chance that they are. They also need to run people through their data banks when a global or large-scale crime has happened and someone has been convicted. The FBI probably will never monitor this site. The NSA might be right now. MI5 and MI6 are spies that don't normally use the internet or networking for thier global work, just the offices are networked. The NSA have contacts everywhere so they use networking and the internet.

I doubt very much they are sitting in front of their computers checking these questions, but I imagine they must watch word for word on some websites and have searches out for certain phrases, codes or words from the general internet.

i dont think so but you would never know who is an agent as we all have different names. Wouldnt mind a bit of some of the C. T. U agents though especially the young ones. How are we sure your not an agent?

yes i would have thought so, i know they follow emails. if you send an email to a friend that says ki ll Tony Blair in it and then send another that just says Tony Blair the second one will get there first due to the fact that the first one will have been intercepted before being sent to the recipient

(About half of those are imaginary, made up just for films/tv.)
There are spider bots...programs that scan the internet, search engine use them. I'm sure somebody is keeping track of what sites that talk a lot about "making bombs" or "assassinating george bush". However, trust me, nobody cares what people on Yahoo think or say. Have you ever looked at the News Boards on Yahoo?

They probably do, but you know what i say F.U.C.K. 'em. What they'll do is try to use your fears against you. These people are supposed to be 'intelligent' but they are unanswerable to the public or anyone they'll do anything for money and power and are worst than any criminals on the planet. They're scared of what's happening now,of what they've caused in the middle east.

NSA is who monitors all communications to attempt to detect threats to the country! I won't even go into the classified areas...
