I would suggest dance music. Since it's usually really upbeat, fast, high energy, it helps me get through the day at work. Plus dance music is usually longer than the normal song, which can be an added bonus, especially when working out.

Drum and Bass music is really great to exercise to, as it's very fast paced and meant to pump up a crowd by its very nature.
Recommendations in ALBUM form
Pendulum - Hold Your Colour
Kemistry and Storm - DJ Kicks
DJ Dara - The Antidote
The last two are DJ mixes which have a trade-off of being really good for pumping you up but also have no clear stop and start point, which is sometimes discouraging while keeping track of time.
Fast paced hip-hop and pop are also good as long as they have a good beat and last a decent amount of time. Dance music works well, too.

Any music that gets you pumped up and going. I would suggest some metal or hard rock.
In my experience, the best music for running is loud enough to hear over your panting and the words bear some significance.
Try Eminem- Soldier. Always helps me to keep on going.
