I want to get my husband of 2 years a new wedding ring for Christmas. When we got married, we didn't have much money and so the one he has isn't what he deserves. How can I find out the right size without him suspecting anything?

he doesn't have any other rings and he never takes his wedding ring off.

tie a string around his finger and tell him it is his reminder to make love to you. Walk away, come back totally naked and take it off of him, put it on the table and make love to him. When it is over, take the string still tied I hope to the jewelry store and have them size it.

When my husband and I got married, he had to have his ring specially ordered, because they only had the "average" size in stock, which happened to be 11. But if you're sentimental like I am, and kept the ring boxes, the size will be in there, but then of course you could always do what they did on Roseanne (LOL) and take his ring while he's sleeping, take it to a jewler, find out the size and act like you were looking for it all day and finally found it, and give it back =)

Tell him that you saw a jeweler will clean rings as a 2-for-1 deal, and you want yours cleaned anyways, so you want to take his ring in to be cleaned at the same time. He gives you his current ring, so take it to some jeweler and have it cleaned, and have them get the size at the same time. Also, ask him if he likes that size (has it gotten tighter or looser in the last 2 years), so you can get the new ring in a better size, and the new ring will fit even better.

you can get a thread or a string and tie it around his finger when he's sleeping or you could just guess the size and just get the ring. if it doesnt fet, just go and change to another size. its the thoughts that count - plus the ring too. good luck!!

well does that ring still fit him? if ask him if you can clean it and put it on a piece of paper and trace the inner part on a piece of paper and they can tell you the size at the store.. other then that you can find things that might look like they'll fit on his finger and use that, like the pretzels in somethings might fit just find little things around the house, or when he's sleeping put a string around his finger and mark it with your nail and take it off and cut it and take that in.. good luck and best wishes with this very sweet idea...

If he ever takes his ring off, quickly snatch it. Sounds kinda mean but a good way to find it out. Take it to a jeweler and have them find it out. When he comes home, tell him you found his ring. You can then purchase a new ring at the same time too.

Pretend that you heard that all fingers were the same size and you would like to see if his are the same size. Mark on piece of paper how big his fingers are but make sure you mark out the ring finger. Then exclaim" There, your fingers are just like mine, they dont match, not that I believed it but they say most men's fingers are the same size!!!" "The one's whose fingers dont match in size are the most intelligent, and you are one of the latter!!!"

I would take a look at one of his other rings, take that to the jeweler . Make sure it's a ring that he doesn't wear too much.
