Oprah looks so bored these days with famous/non-famous guests, but has a zillion dollar contract so 'the show must go on'. As for the interrupting, I think she is a no-it-all and has to get her two cents in with whomever.

Oprah is using a tactic to keep her interview moving. Many reporters and talk show hosts do this to prevent the topic from getting boring.

The celebrities usually rehearse what they are going to say before so they look better on camera. Normal people don't get that kind of training, and so have to be lead through the interview.

Seriously, she does it to celebrities too. She likes the sound of her own voice. What kind of person owns a magazine and each month is a picture of yourself. Talk about full of yourself. I don't think Oprah is down to earth anymore. Yeah, she does service and donates, but why talk about it? She says it's to inspire, but I think she has dual motives. We have given Oprah too much power!

Because PEOPLE DON'T WANT TO HEAR THEM TALK!

If you have Tom Cruise jumping on your couch, do you want to take up more than a few seconds of your show's valuable time to get the input of Shanequa from Chicago?

Mm mm girl, I don't think so.
