it means you have service for VCast. without it showing on your phone you won't be able to acess VCast.

I think this means that you are in a zone that has enhanced services like VCast. I've seen this a couple times on mine too in certain areas.

EVDO= evolution data only, it has a faster download rate for data the 1xrt, which would be he 1x display
