The one's that do nothing but slander other teams. They are usually the ones who don't know a thing about the game and its the most intelligent thing that they can say about it.

That's a loaded question. Just about everyone will mention the team that stands as the arch-nemesis of their favorite team.

All fans, assuming they are real fans, have got the important part down. They love the game. They respect the players. They understand that it's a business.

Any fans who don't meet those three criteria could be considered for the most clueless of the lot.

Personally, I'd say the fans of big-money, big-market clubs like the Yankees and Red Sox. My rationale is pretty solid on this one. These fans don't have a clue because they are so used to winning that anything less than a division championship then a league championship and then a World Series trophy is considered failure. These fans expect the ownership of their respective ballclubs to sign every big free-agent on the market and trade for every superstar who is looking for a change of scenery.

I think fans in Kansas City and Minnesota and Milwaukee all are the most sane. Their clubs have won and lost and won and lost. They go through good stretches and bad stretches because their owners don't go out and buy all of the prize ponies on the market. Thus these fans understand that sometimes, their team is gonna be awful for a year or two because the team is rebuilding. Fans who can be content with a losing ball-club are, in my mind, the most sane of all fans.

Those who expect nothing but big bucks and big rewards every season...those are the fans without a clue.

The fans that are not really fans. They never research a topic before commenting on it and usually end up with egg in their face. I'm a Yankee fan and I've met plenty of so called Yankee fans that don't have a clue. They are everywhere, in every major league city. Just as there are knowledgeable fans, there are clueless non-fans!

Hands down its the Cubs. Year in and year out they fill Wrigley field and cheer on the beloved cubbies. Ownership laughs all the way to the bank. Player gets a huge contract then proceeds to stink up the joint and the fans keep in smiling and drinking...show some displeasure once in a while!

Any fan of a team who's owner don't give a crap about the franchise or their fans. Just look around the league and look at the crappy teams who never have a winning record and really don't seem to want to get any better. To be a fan of a team like that has to be clueless.

Cub fans. They say they are "loyal" because they sell out every game even when their ownership just keeps putting out crappy teams year after year. They need to wake up and realize that as long as they keep pouring in the money, ownership has no reason to ever pay for a decent team. They are destined to remain ringless. Poor Cubbies.
