Girl he can't keep you in the marriage they have divorce for a reason. It might cost a little more if he fights you but let the courts know why you don't want to be married to him anymore. He can refuse to sign the papers but because he refuses doesn't mean you can't get a divorce. My mother has gone through 5 divorces so i know what rules go with that! Good Luck!!

You can still get a divorce even if he refuses to sign the papers. Talk to a lawyer about how to do this. Good Luck.

He can refuse all he likes. The divorce will just then become contested and will have to go in front of a judge and he will present his reasons why you should stay married and you will present your reasons why you should be divorced. Good Luck and get a good lawyer!

Girl after you file and he refuses to sign I believe is after 6 or 3 months can't remember the judge automatically will give you the divorce no matter what he says or states against you the judge will honor you...

Call a courthouse nearest you for more info.

Good Luck and Best wishes these Holidays...

He can refuse but the judge can and will still eventually grant the divorce. Will be considered a no contest divorce. The judge just has to give him ample time to respond due to bill/assets being involved not because your husband just doesn't want a divorce.

He can refuse all he wants but wont do him any good, because you will get a divorce. There are many ways to get one including a missing spouse, etc but he will "contest" you and this will probably get real ugly and time consuming so be prepared for the worst. Sorry on the marriage but good luck, and Merry Christmas

Depends on your state and your reason for wanting a divorce. If in a "no fault" state, you can just divorce him and he can't do anything about it. If in a "fault" state, you have to show he has done something wrong to give you the right to a divorce. If you can do that, you can just divorce him and he can't do anything about it.

You need a lawyer, one way or the other.

He can refuse all he wants to but if you file for divorce, he will eventually have to accept it. The judge will give him a certain amount of time to respond to your request, after that period of time, the judge will grant you a divorce if he doesn't answer. All you have to do is file and wait.
