Men and Women are two equal beings one complementing the other...Yes there are evil people in the world (of both genders).
Please explain, for this boggles my mind.... I watch TV where the female confesses to crime against her partner, while the presenter tries to convince her that it was the victim's fault (a male in this case) when the story the female states is very obvious...Please explain...Thank you for taking time...

Male bashing essentially started after WWII (1940's) when the women began to find their social Independence. But this type of bashing became the norm and magnified greatly in the 60's with the hippie movement along with the feminist special interest groups and their lawyers and promoted family law to be drastically changed. Many men are basically chivalrists due to the fact that they have been programmed as such by our societies. So the bashing trend continues as they are open targets with women knowing the fact that other men will not come to their defense. By men not sticking up for their own gender when they see a victim being bashed has caused a great downfall in our westernized societies. Unfortunately this trend will never change and will become worse as time progresses.

Honestly, I think most of this derives from being "politically correct". Bashing women, or minorities, would be opening up a whole can of complaints, so often it's easier to just bash men, especially since most men could really care less.

I don't know. Maybe it was just that particular TV program. Just switch the channel and watch the Men's Show - you'll see some of the opposite :-)

Political correctness or in other terms hypocrisy is taking its toll.
I feel any bashing, male or female is one of the causes of break up of families....I feel strongly society re-think the urge to political correctness when it is the politicians who are the biggest incorrectness of them all (most of them)...

No, its not a new trend, but it is much more prevalent these days, and due to media coverage, the internet, etc., you are more aware of it. Its not new - you are just hearing more about it now.
