Why don't you check with your cable company. Much faster then DSL.

DSL is only one form of broadband. Cable is an alternative, and competitively priced. (and in my opinion, the best one out there). It sounds as if you may be in a rural area where neither cable or DSL is available. If that is the case, you should look into satellite. It is a viable third option for broadband.

Only the communications company that provides your telephone service can provide you with that information. Instead of waiting I would just get broadband service through your local cable provider.

I had the same problem.Switched to wild blue.About 250 for parts then 50 a month.Quite pleades with it.

well, go to sites like charter, centurytel, cheqnet, quest, and others and check your eligiblity for their services. otherwise, i can't much help!
