in front of the bank one tower, on clark and madison, there's a building there...i think it's 70 N Madison...
what's the building called? is it a shopping center? where can i find a list of the stores in the building?

Madison runs east and west. There is a building at 70 W. Madison called Three First National Plaza, if that's what you mean. It's mostly offices...

The previous answer is correct. The Bank One building (formerly the First National Plaza) is now called the Chase Plaza, and 70 N Madison maintains it's historical name as 3 First National.
It is an office building with a couple of restaurants, but the only real shopping in the immediate area is Macy's or Carsons on State Street.
