That's a scam. Check with the Secret Service website. It will tell you all about it.

It's some Nigerian money scam. I think they call it the Nigerian-419 scam. The senders will want you to travel to their country with a boatload of cash and then they will take it from you and you may never be heard from again. When I talked to an agent about the email I received, he told me that there were already numerous reports of people traveling to Africa hoping to get in on the deal and were either robbed, beaten and left for dead or were never heard from again.

I would forward your email to the Secret Service and definitely don't reply to it. Good luck!!

No its a scam. Sadly these scammers can't even think of a better story, why would a bank in africa have 500000dollars to give away.

What Nancy says is very true! Beware, when you get those mails report them as spam. Don't open, and never ever answer!!!!
