where is the best place to learn to ski?

snowboarding is easier to learn. you only have to control one thing w/ you feet vs. two.

plus, your hands are free @ all times. they are both equally enjoyable!

if you want to learn to snowboard, i would recommend wake boarding in the summer to get a feel for it. the best place to learn would be Big Sky Country Montana. Try the Big Mountain in Whitefish or Bridger Bowl in Bozeman.

Skiing and snowboarding are both fun, but if you're just going on a short ski vacation and you don't know how to do either, don't try to learn to snowboard! Its a mistake. Skiing is much easier at first, snowboarding takes more time. As far as the best place to learn how to ski, I'd say Park City Mountain Resort or Brighton Ski Resort in Utah, but I'm a little bias...

The best place to learn to ski would be in Winter park CO, Breckenridge CO or Keystone CO. You should take lessons from an experienced trainer who specializes in your age group. I also recommend skiing first, because snowboarding takes about 2 weeks to learn,and there are a lot of physical risks (commonly broken wrist). Skiing is also more fun because it is easier to control, and there are more things to do (jumps, Moguls) and skiing is easier to learn and maintain, it feels more natural versus snowboarding.

if you want to learn to ski, do it on the easy slope with a instructor. learn the basics first, the rest will follow. between skiing and boarding, i d choose skiing, but it cant hurt (too much) to try boarding. hope you have fun!

snow boarding is funner and possibly easier if you can ride a skateboard. the best place to learn i would say is boreal in california thats where learned keep in mind to wear fluffy padded pants so you butt wont hurt as much from falling i learned that the hard way lol
