First of all congrats!! I am 34 weeks pregnant and just finished Lamaze classes--From what I learned from videos and the nurse, a lot of walking (or any type of activity) can help labor progress. She said that helps baby descend (even if you do simple exercises like stretching). I have those Braxton-Hicks as well and I also get out of breath--like someone is squeezing my throat!! Good luck and remember to relax, too as I was told the less adrenaline you have the faster your body will work. (Apparently adrenaline counteracts the oxytocin you need to have labor progress).

I am also 37 weeks and 1 cm dilated. I have a cold and I can not sleep at night. I am tired all day and I feel like I haven't slept in days. I was told that sex will help bring the labor on, but his sperm alone will not help. My doctor said that I have to enjoy it. Those were her exact words. Our orgasm and his sperm together will help bring it on. My due date in Jan. 2 and I am so miserable right now. I am just hoping that I give birth soon and I hope the same for you. Good Luck.

Just hold on a few more weeks. You really don't want to go into labor just yet. Babies come when they are ready and right now inside you is the best place for him or her.
I have had 5 kids.

Walking helps. Or try sleeping in an almost upright position and see if that helps with the night time issue.

you ought to probable be placing out demanding paintings i'd easily call the wellbeing care specialist and word what he/she thinks. Is the launch type of like snot i do not ignore that sounds grose, yet it truly is how my wellbeing care specialist defined it to me. if so your absolutely dropping your mucous plug and with my first newborn i began demanding paintings some days after it began popping out.. Everyones different so dont quote me, yet i'd heavily call the wellbeing care specialist noticeably if the cramps persist or worsen.

Stop your moaning! I can't have any children of my own. Be happy you are this far pregnant, rather pray that your baby is well.
