I was feeling mopey last Thursday because of my upcoming birthday (it's officially tomorrow). Thursday night, my husband came home late carrying a bouquet of flowers, a bouquet of balloons, a light-up teddy bear iPod thing (it's a Sharper Image doodad), my favorite premium chocolates, *and* he took me out to lobster enchiladas with a lakeside view. The houses were decorated for Christmas, so the lights sparkled on the water.
My kids were polite at that dinner (it was an impromptu "everyone takes Mom out for her early birthday" day), and my husband drove, so I got to try out a margarita at the place. The food was great; the view was wonderful, and my husband was very warm and comforting to me.
He went overboard to make me smile. That was a great date, even if I had my two kids with us.

The best date i ever had in my life was about two weeks ago. I told my grandson that i was going to pick him up from day care three hours early so we could go to lunch at McDonald's and he could play in the play area. He had a blast.
What made it so special?
A day with the grandson says it all.

Last night.
It wasn't exactly a "date", but my wife and I took the family out to a local Christmas light display and had a wonderful time.

I took my son on a date, he's 11... we went to Knott's Berry Farm and had the best time. He said he was the happiest kid in the world and that he had the best day of his life. It was great.

Me and my girl went to this beautiful pak and the weather was perfect, not too cold and not too hot, we were under some beautiful trees which had very flamboyant coloured flowers and we had an amazing time.
