yes, he was on drugs, but he wasn't a drug addict, and yes he was an alcholic (sp), but his poetry is so great and great lyrics, i noticed that every time that i ask a jim morrison question, people give me a thumbs down.

I agree with you,he was a pretty good poet.I went to where he is buried in Paris last year,and I was pretty disgusted with what I saw.There were syringes,clean and dirty,cigarettes,condoms,used and unopened ones all left for him at his grave.I am pretty sure that if he could relive his life over he would never become a drug user and have an addiction to alcohol,so it baffles me why people leave these things at his grave.and it's these things that are left at his grave that that I am against when it comes to Jim Morrison.

I love Jim Morrison. He was so brilliant and amazing. People who bad talk him just don't understand I guess.

I love Jim Morrison,especially in his black leather trousers!! He could light my fire anytime!! He was a poet and a legend,I have his music in my collection.

Alcoholics, and addicts are the same. Alcohol is a drug. Youd learn that in a Health Class or ask a doctor.
