can any one please recommend any good websites for electrical components for a self build mobile home conversion.

Here....lots more out there.
Best bet is to go to Lowe's, Home Depot, etc and get a residential wiring HOW-TO book. They aren't expensive and are worth every penny.

When in doubt, hire a qualified electrician.

some areas a self build is great but when it comes to elec,as said id deffo get a pro in

if in a motorhome you dont want to be on the other side of the planet in years time thinking,i wish id got the elec done right im stuck
getting it done by a pro will ensure its right and also give you time,to run the motorhome before your trip and see it all works,then if there is any elce prob due to it being done properly you can simply take it back
but on the other hand if you do it yourself and it needs a pro due to errors,they wont wanna touch a mass of wires an amatuer has done and will charge you a fortune

same as in the house,id tackle most stuff but leave the water and elec to the pros
