I'm having some difficulty with some naming of compuounds.
This one is really getting on my nerves
Its an Ionic compound

Potassium permanganate

K is potassium and MnO4− is the permanganate ion.

Potassium permanganate. The -ate comes from oxygen, but I forget where the per- comes from.
