Hey Radio. Happy New Year man. 1. We Were Promised Jetpacks - Moving Clocks Run Slow I literally flipped a coin. Both songs were fine, kind of good even. Neither of them really got me pumped up at all though. I don't think I'll remember either of them two days from now, but that doesn't mean that I found them unenjoyable. 2. Sonic Youth - Antenna Closer than I thought it was going to be. I actually thought the Pearl Jam track was pretty cool. Dig the Sonic Youth track. Glad they added Mark Ibold. 3. Bob Dylan - My Wife's Home Town I actually typed up an answer selecting Converge, but I just realized that as much as I was underwhelmed by the Dylan tune I just didn't really like the Converge track, even though I did find it to be a pleasant surprise. I can appreciate it and it had a couple of interesting elements to it, and it's just not my cup of tea. If you were to factor in the amount that I SHOULD like a Dylan tune more and give Converge bonus points to try to bridge that inherent gap I would actually probably give it to them, but if I start handicapping answers based on stuff like that it could just get silly. At the end of the day, I liked the Dylan track more and I will choose it. 4. Linkin Park - New Divide God, do I really have to take Linkin Park over anything? I guess releasing the same boring single over and over again is less of a crime than releasing that song. 5. 50 Cent - Baby By Me The 50 Cent song wasn't bad. It was what it was. Something that I wasn't destined to like, but it was fine. The Justin Bieber song hurt my soul and I only made it through the first hook.
