I like real, my husband prefers fake.
Picking out a new tree, every year, is a big part of Christmas for me. My Grandpa's sister and her husband used to run a Christmas tree farm. Every year my mom, dad, & I would drive, 2 hours, out to their place to pick our tree and trees for my grandparents and aunts & uncles. We even got to cut them ourselves. The area they live in is predominantly German, so there's lots of wineries & vinyards out there. We'd stop at the same winery every year and get wine, sausage, & cheese.
My Great Aunt is retired now but she's got some trees left and my dad still goes out there for his tree (he needs a REALLY tall one). So, that's why I prefer a real tree.

i individually appreciate a real evergreen tree. yet we had some problems with the tree's pine needles falling lots by using tree being to dry in the nice and cozy abode. So we've a man made tree. and that i will ought to confess, in assessment to the previous pretend timber(that gave the impact of a tree with anorexia!) The tree we've had the final 5 or 6 years does look genuine! I even have had human beings come over and remark approximately it being a alluring tree. And once I tell them that it particularly is man made, they are in a position to't have faith it! however the ingredient you don't get is the scent of a real tree! MMMM! Makes me desire to place my tree up now..:)

Real if you have hardwood or tile floors(so you can sweep up the needles)

Fake if you have carpet(no needles to sweep)
