All I want to know is that if a US President (Any US President) could be impeached on a charge of gross negligence or are US Presidents above certain US laws?

I don't think severe incompetence is an impeachable offense.
If it was, Bush would probably deserve the maximum sentence.

Negligence? You have to be kidding. He didn't move till the people that WE voted for said it was okay. So if anyone is to blame it is Congress. They gave him the go ahead and then turn around and start complaining because it's not going as fast as they thought or Mr. Bush asks for more troops.
You may come back and say well Bush mislead Congress but the man goes by what intelligence is given to him. If he believes he has substantial evidence and believes he can do it then he'll go for it.
So many people to blame the President but don't think who he has to ask permission from. Wouldn't suprise me if a Congressman actually wrote this question. HAHAHA

Bush would desire to be impeached for utilising his place of work to deceive the wide-unfold public as to the justifications for the Iraqi invasion. the priority right that's that the Bush Junta has hidden or destroyed the information. those in touch, individuals like Scooter Libby would desire to come to a decision to return sparkling in some unspecified time interior the destiny, yet by ability of then it is going to likely be too overdue for impeachment...yet no longer for inditment in federal court docket. Libby himself laid it on the line...get me a pardon until now you flow away place of work or i will submit a tell all e book which will will carry you right down to all-time low. i've got faith that down the line somebody will produce the information and Bush and Cheney will would desire to stand a jury. i could supply this consequence a minimum of a 50/50 danger. the fact is accessible!

Absolutely not. The President has done nothing illegal and nothing remotely close to an impeachable offense. The President has a very broad range of discretion that goes along with his job.

Of course not. Never happened.
It's people who don't support Bush, and want us to lose that's hurting us.
You are probably a foreigner, but there are some Americans just as un-informed as you.

He could be, quite easily, but the Democrats have already said they're not going to worry about it.

I GUESS THE SAME WAY ROOSEVELT COULD HAVE BEEN AFTER PEARL HARBOR OR TRUMAN AFTER HE DROPPED THE BOMB OR KENNEDY AFTER THE BAY OF PIGS OR JOHNSON AFTER VIETNAM GOT OUT OF CONTROL.
