From starting i had irregular periods (once in 3 months or so). Later it was regular for 2 years and after that had a 4 months break and again it was normal for 1 year and again now from 2 months i didn't get periods, but last time it was for 15 days (7days- normal bleeding & 7 days very light). it was the first time i got for 15 days. we r planning to have a baby after an year. Can i conceive? Bleeding is normal in period times. Not much pain. iam afraid i can't get pregenancy due to irregular periods.
If anyone can answer this it would be of great help to me!!!!

I suffered from irregular periods for years. However, I have had three children and am now taking oral birth control to help regulate my periods. If you are planning to conceive, I would suggest that you see your doctor for a complete exam. If there are health issues that would prevent conception, your physician may be able to identify those for you.

I would suggest seeing your GYN> Cause irregular periods could be a sign of PCOS= poly cystic ovarian syndrome. ALso, if you are over weight it can throw off your cycle. I highly suggest seeing your GYN> because if there is something going on then you have time to start treating it and then in a yr you can see a reproductive endocrinoloigsts that can help you get pregnant. Im not saying that this is what you have. What im saying is that it could be a poosibiity and I would have your dr figure out whats up with your irreg periods and see if someting else is going on. I wish you te best. GL hugs

you seem to be facing a problem of hormonal imbalance. also check if you have related problems like, anaemia, hypertension, ovarian cysts etc. Irregular periods are tell - tale signs of internal problems, specially when they are erratic like yours.

I suggest you see a good gynaec and thoroughly get your self checked. Its always better to conceive when your body and specially the reproductive apparatus is in good shape.

I can though suggest that you resort to some Ayurveda treatment as well. Try ASHOKARISHTA as per suggested dosage on the bottle. It helps normalise periods and related menstrual problems.
