I think he would have been much better off as an attacking midfield for the Gunners.

I'm a Gooner and I'm glad he's at Chelski. His scoring record is atrocious.

He would have been better off at almost any team but Chelski! Just ask Joe Cole how easy it is to start on a regular basis for Mourinho. he finally makes the lineup and a combination of his getting injured, and the arrival of Ballack and a new midfield strategy and he sees a lot of the bench now.

Wright Phillips will likely go to the Hammers and here try to revive his career.

Shawn-Wright Phillips is wasting time is Chealsea. How often you see him play on the field?? Arsenal was a better choice back then, but now they don't need anymore midfielders. Now Arsenal's attacking midfielders are getting better and better. Febregas, Baptista, Hleb, Ljumberg, Rosicky and so on are performing very well. I don't they need anymore midfielders.

Gunners for life!!!

yeah! i think it was a move to show off thier spending superiority wright phillips would have been better off in Arsenal....taking into mind..the youth development plan in Arsenal for example ...look no further than Fabrecas...........and you'll see how he is the best central playmaker in the premiership today....he just created a goal angist wigan after coming on, in the last 15 mins and producing a inch perfect pass to find Adebayor(88minute)...the result Arsenal 1 Wigan 0

He wonted to make a name for him self and he couldnt do that at Arsenal, i think he would of been best of going to Spurs as he could make a name for him self there and still push for England and play his kind of football, i hate spurs but he made the wrong move to chelsea insted of them.
