I'm slender, but I have a round tummy, so I get it. Pick tops that create an illusion. I have a white shirt with a wide navy blue stripe on each side. The white part is long and narrow and makes my waist look that way. Avoid short, wide or really tight tops. Get the long tunics that they sell now. Buy tops that have split sleeves at the shoulders. They're not too frilly and they make your shoulders look slightly wider so they create more of an hourglass shape rather than a pear shape. Longer, fitted blouses and jackets work wonders. Do crunches too. They will strengthen your abs so that they hold themselves in. And you could walk around with your abs flexed all the time so that your belly looks flatter (easy & discrete workout). Oh yeah, if you can, put emphasis on your chest or hips. Also, try wearing a dark dress or coat and a wide belt with a big buckle around the smallest part of your waste.

Horizontal stripes are a REALLY bad idea. You could wear a longer top and a belt just below your bustline. Draw emphasis to your upper waist area rather than your middle. Jackets or tops that have seam lines coming in towards your chest will also draw the attention elsewhere. Stretchy material bad! Wear a light color on top. Black is NOT always slimming. Do your best to create an hourglass look using your clothing.

You probably are too young to worry about your weight, but I've always been worried about weight myself.
Wear black is a good tip. Obviously don't wear tight shirts. Avoid low rise pants. A nice solid color shirt with a lightweight cardigan is a good choice. Stripes aren't the best choice either. Wear the right kind of belt too.
Hope this helps. I am sure you're fine! : )

Well, as I'm sure you know-- black seems to give you a slimmer sillhouette for unknown reasons. Vertical pinstripes elongate your body, but horizontal stipes make it wider! Babydoll and empire-waisted tops and dresses accentuate the bust and draw attention away from the rest of the body. Don't put sparkles, patterns, shine, or any sort of noticible design on any part of the body you're working to hide. Longer wifebeaters tend to elongate your body as well, but only if you're not extremely overweight, and just a little chubby.
good luck!

am not sure whether you just want it to LOOK smaller or actually BECOME smaller?? but i will assume become rit cos obviously you can't make it seem as if it is small unless you make smaller rit sugar? okey, i also had a big stomach, not only is it fashion for it to be smaller but also your health honeypie that's what my mom used to say. so she advised me to do sit ups every day. it was very helpful and believe me my Tammy looks good and fit today. just do those sit ups everyday okey and see if any changes take place.

The best advice I can give is to wear a nice well fitting top (not TOO tight, but fitted, and wear a fitted, tailored jacket and a pair of great jeans with heels. A fitted jacket (blazer) will cut your waist in and emphasize your best features!

Try to cut down on salty foods (high sodium foods) like pickles and french fries, they caue water retention and give you a bloated stomach. Also carbonated drinks....like coke fanta they swell your middle section. lastly cut down on sorbitol, often found in candy or gum, it releases gas when chewed which makes your stomach puffed out. OR.. youcould just try a tummy belt but that's not very good for you.

wear tops that are fitted to the narrowest part of your torso (usually just under the bust/bottom of the ribcage) and float away from the stomach. Don't wear low rise jeans, it just frames your stomach, wear a mid-rise jean/ trouser. Wear straight leg pants, and fitted jackets to define a waist.

Try to wear shirts that don't show your stomach, but still fit at a decent tightness. And when you walk around suck in your stomach just a little bit so that it shrinks the size, but don't make it really obvious that your doing it.

1.) lose weight
2.) tops that wrap around the side of the waist which detract eyes away from the stomach
