Because you never see a black person going hiking in the freezing cold, blowing snow and fog. Why is that?

Also, if a white child gets kidnapped or goes missing, the national news immediately jumps on it. If a black child is missing, the media chooses to overlook it for another story. (I am white and I truly believe that)

This seems to be a really biased question. How is it that you think there is some kind of imbalance. When I look at the fliers I get daily in the mail, and the posters at my local market with the missing children the racial balance isn't tilted one way or another - it seems to be pretty universal.

Are you referencing the Natalie Holloway case? If so - that's been going on a long time with no results to bring the people who took her to justice. I think maybe you should take a look at the missing persons website for your area before making such broad statements.

Because if there was a ransom for a kidnapped/missing black/mexican etc. then you already know they wouldn't have the money for it. If Bill Gates family member was kidnapped for a ransom then it's good as done to pay to get that person back.

Have you checked the missing children's or missing adults site lately? There's just as many non-whites on there as whites. The media tends to pick up more of the white stories than the others. Sad isn't it?

How did i know this would turn to racism...aaagaaaain! [roll of eyes]
Here in Dallas we here more of blacks and hispanics being kidnapped than whites, i guess no one wants to mess with a redneck....
I think it depends on the state and what's going on...the news only airs stories that are griping and have fights and lots of police involved or murder!!!
But it's opposite here in Dallas, don't know why....i know if i took of with my kids, my husband would be on our roof with his rifle and he could drop me two miles away - once again, don't mess with rednecks!
