First, I am sorry for your loss

Second, I would want to know the circumstances of it, as it would be an overwhelming shock.

Third, I would be numb all over, trying to take this all in

That is really sad, I'm sorry for your loss.

But you really won't believe this. So I'm over my friends house now and since I'm addicted to Answers, I needed to go on for a few minutes. So he found some bubble wrap, (the big kind) and started popping it and threw himself across the floor like he was killed. It sounded like gunshots. That's really ironic! But it really did happen!

I wouldn't be able to react. I can't say how I would. As you can tell, he's a little immature and I don't know what I'd do without him. I can't say until I know.

Did you ever lose a family member? That's how the reaction would be. A best friend is like your brother or sister, but the best friend is told a little bit more than you would tell afamily member. Imagine losing the only person you could tell EVERYTHING to. Imagine sitting by your phone and subconsciencely picking ti up to call that person and when you get to the 3rd or 4th digit you remeber you can't talk to them anymore and you feel like dying yourself because lonliness is the worst most depressing friend you could ever have.

I was laying in bed dreaming and suddenly I awoke with a start. something had happened.Johns mother called me four hours later and said that he had died.shot in the head.he may have committed suicide. I miss him very much.and will allways think of him.You will miss your friend. theres not much a person can do or say. I am sorry to hear this for you. Praying helps me .I am sure God is taking care of your friend .

That has actually happened to me. I was in the hospital the day after I had my baby and another friend came and told me that my friend was found dead on her floor that morning. She had suffered an anurism and died. I was totally shocked and devasted. Good thing I was on pain killers is all I have to say.

Wow, I don't even want to think about my best friend found dead

I'd cry, no duh. I'd think of all the fun times we spent together, and then I'd cry more. I'd look at all our pictures, while crying. And I'd probably die myself because I love my best friend more than anyone else in the world and I can't imagine my life without a person I've known for thirteen years.

I had it happen 10 years ago on the 20th of December. He died of an OD. I felt like my life stopped. It was the most horrid news and most difficult death I have ever survived.

I don't even want to think about it. She's been my best friend for over 10 years and I don't like to think about a world without her.

obviously i would be very upset, I would not want to believe it, my friend died at the grocery store last year and it was very surreal. I don't think I really believed it until someone else moved into her house.
