I would like to go there one day and i'm learning about the culture and it's people.

I'm not Russian but I live in Russia. Contrary to what others think on this thread, they are not envious of Americans and the vast majority are immensely proud of being Russian. I know it's the American default setting to believe that everyone wishes they were American but it's not true. The answers to this question so far have just highlighted the ignorance and arrogance of Americans.

Most Russians are far more benevolent towards America than the rest of Europe. You will be very welcome there.

This is coming from an American who's parents grew up in Russia. I speak Russian and I have been there before.

many of my relatives want to move here. The others dont want to only because they are too old.

A friend of mine just lived there for 6 months. He said they hate Americans.

They love our freedoms. I believe that a lot of Russians would love to live here.
